Does your horse need a little more space in the chest area? Our chest girth extender ensures that every rug fits perfectly. The chest girth extender is versatile and fits horse rugs with the same fastening (e.g. the Horseware Amigo rug). It is perfect for horses with a broad chest or larger horse breeds such as the Quarter Horse.

Material & finish
The outer of the quilted chest girth extender with vegan sheepskin and two buckles is made of 600D polyester with diamond quilting. This way it matches our stable rug perfectly. The outer material is very tear-resistant. The inside of the chest girth extender is made of our well-known artificial sheepskin that is also used on our popular "Shipping" headcollar. Besides the two buckles there is also a Velcro fastening that ensures the chest girth extender stays in place.
Fit & size
The chest girth extender with vegan sheepskin and two buckles offers up to 19 cm more space. The distance between the two buckles is 12 cm.
Care & cleaning
Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing them as rarely as possible and using our gentle wash bags to preserve the quality long term. We also recommend washing in professional washing machines (with larger capacity) to avoid damage from the drum of a normal washing machine. To dry, simply hang the rug outside on a sunny day. Tumble drying is not recommended.
